Call of Duty: WWII’s Zombies Mode to be based on Real Events

It’s been announced that Call of Duty: WWII’s zombie mode will be (wait for it) based on “real events” and include some “real authentic stuff”.

This comes from some mined information, via Reddit, taken from EDGE magazine, and comes directly from Sledgehammer boss Glen Schofield.

Yes, you’re as open mouthed as I was. However let’s put it into perspective. It’s highly likely that Schofield was referring to the setting rather than the theme. Unless the world was attacked by zombies at some point that I’m not aware of, there’s no legitimate way to base the story on the aforementioned “real events”.

No doubt we will learn more at E3, which is just days away. Stay tuned and as always, we’ll keep you in the loop.
