E3 2017: Destiny 2 Beta Date, FPS on Xbox One X, and New Launch Date

Bungie has announced the Destiny 2 open beta date, as well as FPS on the newly revealed Xbox One X, and a brand new launch date.

The beta is set to go live on July 18th, although we’re not too sure exactly what the beta will include. The original Destiny beta had a nice chunk of content to go through, which took guardians across Earth and the Moon. No doubt Bungie will reveal the specifics in due course.

Destiny 2’s director Luke Smith has also taken to Twitter and announced that the game will now be available on September 6th for Xbox One and PS4, instead of September 8th.

Smith also stated during an interview with Geoff Keighley on Youtube Live @ E3, that Destiny 2 will be locked at 30fps on Xbox One X.
