E3 2017: Original Xbox Games Going Backward Compatible on Xbox One

It was announced today by head of Xbox Phil Spencer during the E3 2017 Xbox briefing that original Xbox games will be making their way to backward compatibility.

It’s a massive step up (or back depending on your logic) when you look back to when Microsoft were stating that backwards compatibility would never work on the Xbox One, and here we are years later with not just 360 compatibility, but OG too.

We’re not sure exactly what games will be coming, and at what frequency, but I would totally go into overdrive if Buffy the Vampire Slayer made the cut. We do know that Crimson Skies will be among the original Xbox games that come over.
