Ubisoft have today released some new key art for the upcoming anticipated Far Cry 5, inviting you to join in on what’s being called ‘The Last Supper’.
Through a series of four teaser trailers for the game, Ubisoft steadily revealed that the location for Far Cry 5 is none other than Hope County, Montana, further showcasing several locations that we can expect to encounter.
The key art released today on the other hand, seems to shed some light on the antagonist(s) as well as their motivations. There’s clearly some sort of religious cult theme involved here, made apparent by the depiction of the last supper, as well as the church and the poor guy on the floor with “SINNER” etched into his back.
It’s also fairly clear that this is a more modern setting in comparison to the previously suggested western setting. Planes, weaponry, and clothing found in the artwork backs that up nicely. Ubisoft has said a worldwide reveal is set for Friday, May 26th. Stay tuned and we’ll keep you in the loop.
