Perception Haunts Gamers with New Trailer and a Small Console Delay

Creep yourself out with Perception’s newest trailer, fresh from The Deep End Games and publisher Feardemic. The latest peek inside Echo Bluff unveils the forgone victims of the estate’s storied past. The narrative horror-adventure releases on PC May 30th, while the PS4 and Xbox One versions have been briefly delayed to June, with specific launch dates to be announced.

“The Deep End Games has put together an exceptional debut game, and we’re very excited to share Perception with the world,” said Marcin Kawa, managing director of Feardemic. “Launching a game across multiple platforms and territories simultaneously is always a challenge and we ran into some unforeseen circumstances related to age ratings across territories. We decided to release on PC as planned and then follow with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases in the second week of June.”

About the Game:
After months of research, Cassie has discovered an abandoned mansion in Gloucester, Mass. Armed with a cellphone to contact the outside world and her drive to solve the mystery, she sets off for Echo Bluff… only to find it’s worse than her nightmares. A ghostly ‘Presence’ has tormented the house’ inhabitants for generations, and now has its eyes set on Cassie. She must solve the estate’s mysteries or risk becoming one of its victims.

Cassie finds her way through the house by tapping her cane to “see” via echolocation. Every sound creates a visual, but there is a cost. Each cane tap will reveal her whereabouts not only to herself, but to her pursuer, the Presence. She must avoid detection by using the ambient noise of the house to help her navigate or by making use of objects to create distractions.

Only one thing is certain: The Presence is searching for Cassie… and it’s listening.
