Rocket League Cross-Platform Will Allow Xbox and Switch Owners to Play Together

Rocket League

It’s been revealed that Rocket League will go cross platform when it arrives on Switch this fall, and allow Switch, Xbox, and PC owners to play together.

This was announced via the official Rocket League website, which states:

“Rocket League will also support all of Nintendo Switch’s play modes, including TV Mode (docked), Tabletop Mode, Handheld Mode, and both Online and Local Multiplayer. Online Multiplayer supports up to eight players, and Cross-Network play will be supported as well, allowing Switch players to hit the field with players on Steam and Xbox One.”

No word on whether Sony will join in on the fun, but with their absence also noted in cross-play on Minecraft, it’s likely they may not be interested.
