Apparently, Xbox Live is Accidentally Doxxing its Users Right Now

According to a heap of Xbox Live users, Microsoft is inadvertently doxxing them, revealing their full names without consent. Credit to Reddit user nadiaface for the discovery.

As many of you know, you’re given the option as to whether or not you wish to share your full name with those that are on your friends list. That choice, for the time being at least, seems to be irrelevant, seeing as Microsoft are currently exposing the full names of its users right now.

That means that even if you have selected the option to not share your full name, chances are, your full name is being shared anyway, without your consent. This is likely a mistake on Microsoft’s part, but a mistake they should remedy, swiftly. You can see a wide range of unhappy customers via the link above.
