Masters of Anima Launches Alongside New Trailer

The world is in peril and only you can save it in Masters of Anima! The new indie gem from Passtech Games, the makers of Space Run, is available today on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC!

You play as Otto, an apprentice of Anima, able to wield incredible powers that are the source of all life in the world of Spark. You covet the rank of Master so you can finally marry your fiancée Ana – who is now a captive of the terrible Zahr and his fearsome Golems!

Use the powers of Anima to summon an army of magical Guardians in your quest to defeat Zahr’s dreaded Golems. Learn to control new types of Guardians on your adventure, each with their own unique talents and abilities useful to explore the vast world of Spark and reveal its secrets, as well as to take down the formidable bosses that stand in your way. As your victories rack up, acquire new powers and abilities for both yourself and your Guardians, ultimately becoming a true Master of Anima.

Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and 2 launch July 24th

Join X, Zero, and Axl in eight incredible adventures when Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and 2 bring the future of 21XX to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on July 24th.

Mega Man X Legacy Collection will include Mega Man X, X2, X3 and X4, while Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 will include Mega Man X5, X6, X7 and X8. Check out the new trailer below.

Extinction Soars onto Shelves Today

Humanity must survive! Save the population from colossal giants in the new action adventure game, Extinction, available today from Iron Galaxy and Modus Games. Play as Avil, one of the last remaining Sentinels and the only warrior equipped with the skills to take down the fearsome Ravenii. These 150-foot-tall bloodthirsty monsters were previously only spoken of in fables, but today they return with a vengeance.

“When we first brainstormed the idea behind Extinction, we thought wouldn’t it be cool to scale these giant monsters and use actual, real-time combat skills to cut them down,” said Derek Neal, Executive Producer at Modus Games. “With the help of the amazing team at Iron Galaxy, we’re so excited to finally have players put those skills to test.”

“From the very beginning, Extinction was a game about two things: strategy and combat,” said Kraig Kujawa, Game Director at Iron Galaxy. “Every situation you encounter is going to force you to think strategically – do I battle my way through a horde of minions to save this group of civilians or do I scale up this tower to jump on the back of the ogre who’s destroying the city?”

Featuring a single-player campaign with dynamic side missions, players will be able to master ultra-flexible melee combat and gravity-defying traversal mechanics throughout the world of Dolorum. Check out the launch trailer at the head of this page to get a firsthand look.

Death Road To Canada Launches April 25th

Independent publisher, UKIYO Publishing, in partnership with Rocketcat Games and Madgarden, announce that the randomly generated, zombie-filled road-trip. Death Road To Canada will launch on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on April 25th. Players will be able to take the highly esteemed, cadaverous journey from Florida to Ontario, soaking up its immaculately gruesome pixel-art take on the undead apocalypse.

Death Road To Canada tasks players with surviving its brutal, hyper-violent combat with over-the-top, looted weaponry. Scavenging the derelict environment, tough, sometimes hilarious decisions will have to be made along the way, either alone or in its two-player local co-op mode. Death Road To Canada will be available for $14.99, €14.99, £11.99 with a 20% launch discount during its first two weeks of sale.

The Invisible Hours is Getting Non VR Version 24th April

The Invisible Hours is a complex murder mystery in the style of immersive theater, in which players freely explore and observe an intricate web of interwoven stories within a sprawling mansion – in order to untangle the dark truth at its heart.

It is said to be one of the deepest narrative experiences in gaming to date, and is coming to consoles and PC on April 24th. Take a look at the trailer below to catch a glimpse of what to expect.

Port a Fort Item is Coming to Fortnite

Fortnite just keeps getting bigger and better with each and every update. Epic Games has just announced that a new Port a Fort item is coming to the game. Sometimes when you’re under heavy fire, you just don’t have the time to stop and craft a fortress to hide in, well, this new Port a Fort is the answer to your prayers.

The item is described as to “sprout a quick defensive position upon impact”, which should certainly come in handy when you find yourself in the aforementioned tight spot. We’re yet to see how this item works, but as soon as Epic dish up the gossip, we’ll give it to you thick and fast. Standby.

Moonlighter Comes to Xbox One, PS4 and PC in May

Moonlighter is an Action RPG with rogue-lite elements following the everyday routines of Will, an adventurous shopkeeper that dreams of becoming a hero.

During an archeological excavation – a set of Gates were discovered. People quickly realized that these ancient passages lead to different realms and dimensions. Rynoka, a small commercial village, was found near the excavation site – providing brave and reckless adventurers with treasures beyond measure.

The game launches to PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on May 29th, 2018 for $19.99 USD in digital and equivalent in other currencies.

Hyper Sentinel set to arrive onto PC and consoles on May 11th

Huey Games announce a release date for its pioneering arcade space shooter, Hyper Sentinel, available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC from May 11th.

Hyper Sentinel is a pure arcade flip and scroll shooter, shot through with classic gameplay in a state-of-the-art, modern game. It doesn’t just inspire nostalgia – it repackages what makes people nostalgic and adds a smart, modern feel to create the ultimate Neo Retro experience.

With simple controls, fast-paced action and intuitive gameplay, Hyper Sentinel is said to be the ultimate pick-up-and-play experience that lets players jump into the role of a lone ship defending the earth from marauding aliens, adding no extra waffle than that.

Big Crown: Showdown Announced for Console and PC

Sold Out announce that it has partnered with Dundee-based indie developer Hyper Luminal to bring competitive multiplayer brawler Bog Crown: Showdown to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC this summer.

Big Crown: Showdown sees friends become foes as they compete for the crown in 4-player local and online multiplayer combat, set over 3 wacky worlds full of medieval shenanigans. Avoid perilous hazards and engage in frantic fights as you attempt to knock your opponents off 15 crazy courses in the ultimate royal battle!

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Sold Out on our chaotic party brawler Big Crown: Showdown,” said Stuart Martin, CEO and co-founder of Hyper Luminal. “Our goal is to make fun family gaming experiences that players of all ages can enjoy, and with Sold Out’s expertise we’re looking forward to our game reaching as many players as possible.”

Big Crown: Showdown will be making its playable debut at EGX Rezzed, where attendees are invited to compete in 4-player chaotic combat at Sold Out’s booth.

PUBG Patch #12 Detailed Ahead of Deployment Tomorrow

Patch number 12 for Xbox One versions of the massively successful PUBG is set to arrive tomorrow, April 11th, but ahead of that, PUBG Corp. has released the patch notes.

The inclusion of a new cosmetic crate will be arriving as well as increased vehicle collision damage. There’s much more to this patch than that, made apparent by these all important notes right here. Take a look, there’s heaps of improvements incoming.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Adds Runaways DLC Pack

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today announced the release of Marvel’s Runaways Character and Level Pack, the new DLC for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. The pack, available at £2.49 on PlayStation 4 and Steam and at £2.39 on Xbox One, adds a level and characters inspired by Brian K Vaughan’s iconic comic series, now a critically acclaimed television show, currently available to stream on Hulu.

In this all-new Runaways comic inspired level pack, players will travel to the undersea Marine Vivarium, where they’ll try to escape from the chaos and destruction that their criminal parents – ‘The Pride’ – have brought upon them. New unlockable characters Nico Minoru, Chase Stein, Alex Wilder, Karolina Dean, Molly Hayes, Old Lace, and Gertrude Yorkes add to the main game’s roster of over 200 Super Heroes and Super Villains.

More OG Xbox Backward Compatibility Titles Revealed Early?

It appears as though someone over at Microsoft didn’t get the memo that this announcement was set to take place later today via Mixer.

Hell, we’re not at all sorry about that. According to the official Xbox Store, Morrowind, Panzer Elite Action, Destroy All Humans, Full Spectrum Warrior and MX Unleashed, will all be available today via OG Xbox BC.

You know the drill, if you own the disc, simply slot that into your console and off you go. If however you own a digital version, head on over to the “Ready to Install” section, queue it up for download, and you’re all set.
