SEGA Teases an Announcement for January 16th via a Vague Tweet

SEGA

SEGA have sent out a rather vague tease today regarding an announcement that’s set for January 16th. Taking to their official social media outlets, SEGA tweeted the image of a light bulb. Yes, that was all, a light bulb alongside the date of January 16th.

Speculation suggests that it could be the announcement of a new console, which is a little bit far fetched if you ask me. Many believe that it could be the arrival of some Dreamcast game ports, but again that seems somewhat unlikely.

The reveal is probably something to do with the project Two Point Studios are working on with SEGA Europe, to which they also stated last year that an announcement would take place on January 16th. Little is known about the project, but we do know that it’s a sim game of some sort.

Two Point Studios have a solid group of talent under their proverbial belt, including developers from Lionhead and Bullfrog. Stay tuned and as soon as we know more, we’ll keep you in the loop.
