Assassin’s Creed Origins was one of the best games of 2017, and it doesn’t seem like Ubisoft are ready to leave the vast map of Egypt any time soon. During a conference call, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot was asked whether the series will return to an annual format, to which Guillemot replied with:
We are concentrating on the moment on AC: Origins, for which we are going to launch a few other DLCs. You will be amazed by what will come on ACO, so that’s the only thing we can say now.
While Guillemot didn’t explicitly answer the point of the question one way or the other, it’s great to know that ACO will be heavily supported, following on from the content that we already know about. Word on the street suggests that the next Assassin’s Creed game will be based in Japan, and will fittingly be titled Assassin’s Creed Dynasty. We’ll follow through if or when we learn more.
